Jugtown Molding, LLC is an idea that I had for awhile. I have been involved in the plastic field since 1978. I started out working for a local company repairing plastic and assembly equipment. Fifteen years later, I applied for and got a job installing and repairing injection molding machines in the field for Cincinnati Milacron. It was a large 10 state service area and it kept me on the road and in the air a lot. I loved my job, but the travel started to get old. I hated to, but I took a job offer and spent two years in Texas. I went back on the road after 8 months working for myself. Milacron is of the last plastic equipment builders here in the USA. I met and got to know a great bunch of people there and am thankful for the chance to work for them and the training I received. So, I have been working for myself for awhile and thought I like to have my own molding shop when I retire. Retire...a dream.... I found two molding machines that were going to be scrapped out. They were sitting outside under a tarp for a year. I did some horse-trading and made one good machine from the two that were there. It took some time, but it's still kicking out shot glasses. I picked of another two machines in Omaha, NE sort of the same way.
